Parent conferences
The counselors are available by appointment to conference with parents concerning their student. The conference may be individual, include the student, or involve the teachers.

GCIS

During the months of November and December, our counseling department will be facilitating career readiness activities with our 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students.  

Signs of Suicide (SOS)
The SMS school counselors, school social worker, and school psychologist will be delivering the Signs of Suicide Lesson for our 6th grade and new enrolled students.  If you DO NOT wish for your child to participate in the SOS suicide prevention lesson at school, please complete the form and return it to your School Counseling Department.  If we DO NOT hear from you by a specified date: we will assume your child has permission to participate in this program. If you have any questions or concerns about this program please do not hesitate to contact your School Counseling Department.
